The Primary S2S support model we use is bespoke, ensuring that we meet the needs of individual schools and their pupils as we understand that every school has its own unique requirements.
Our flexibility ensures that we can service the needs of first, primary and middle schools and this is strongly linked to pupil outcomes.

School to School Support
National Leaders in Education and experienced School Improvement Advisors are available to support Headteacher Performance Management Reviews and provide advice and challenge for school leaders. We are proud that the support we offer is from highly experienced headteachers of successful schools or previously successful headteachers and inspectors who are now working as consultants.
Review of Governance
To support the improvement of leadership at all levels and ensure that Governors meet their statutory duties, we are able to provide reviews of governance by an experienced consultant who has a proven track record in leading Governor Services. The review consists of a school visit, meetings with Governors and a written report with areas for development which is delivered personally.
Teaching and Learning
Our Specialist Leaders in Education are able support all aspects of teaching and learning from planning, classroom support through to assessment. We have specialisms across the entire Primary range including Early Years and Key Stage 3. In addition, our collaboration with the RSATSA ensures that we also have suitable SLE secondary practitioners with subject specialisms that we can offer.
Provide mentoring and coaching at all levels from class teachers to senior leaders
The coaching team has much experience and a proven track record of successfully coaching senior leaders to facilitate school improvement. A number of the SLEs have been part of school improvement journeys themselves and so are well placed to mentor and coach middle leaders and support the development of action plans.
SEF writing & School Development Plans
National Leaders in Education are experienced in writing impact driven school evaluation forms which have been well received in Ofsted inspections.
Supporting the writing of effective school development plans and focused raising achievement plans is within our repertoire and a valuable part of our school improvement model.
Our curriculum is the key to our school’s success and it was recognised recently by HMI as being “dynamic and highly stimulating” and “A climate for learning is tangible throughout the school.” We are therefore totally committed to improving outcomes through curriculum design and experienced in meeting the needs of learners, whatever their starting points.

The RSAA Teaching School Alliance is led by three outstanding schools, all of which are designated teaching schools in their own right. Our schools are located in different areas throughout the West Midlands and we can offer training in Birmingham, Dudley, Coventry and Redditch (South Birmingham).
Through the Alliance of both secondary and primary schools, we provide a range of professional development opportunities to teachers at all stages of their careers. One of our main aims is to take a leading role in recruiting and providing high quality training to new entrants to the profession, identifying leadership potential and supporting teachers on a successful career path.
For 2019-20, we are pleased to work in collaboration with Abbeywood First School RSA Academy in Church Hill who have recently been selected to become a national teaching school.
Abbeywood, in collaboration with the RSA, will take a leading role in recruiting and training new entrants to the profession and can offer a range of Primary, First & Middle ITT options for 2019-20 in multiple locations.

Working within the RSA brings endless opportunities and brings unique benefits to trainee teachers. There is a strong encouragement and support for teachers as researchers, who are encouraged to try out new things and share their findings. There is also opportunity to have a wider influence on education. The RSA continue to contribute to the education debate, and there are opportunities for trainees working within the alliance to be part of this.
